Introducing Playdq: A Platform Built to Publish and Distribute Games

Playdq publishes and distributes games built by independent studios. Here is what that means, and why BATTLX is the first release.

Getting a game in front of players is harder than it looks. A finished build is only part of the work. Someone still has to handle distribution, payment infrastructure, ongoing hosting, and the economy design that decides whether a game feels fair or frustrating. That is the gap Playdq exists to close.

Playdq is a gaming platform focused on publishing and distributing games built by independent studios. Rather than acting as a simple storefront, Playdq takes on the operational side of a launch: infrastructure, economy design, and distribution through Telegram, so a studio can focus on the game itself.

Our first release: BATTLX

BATTLX is the first title released through the Playdq platform. It is a dark fantasy combat game built as a Telegram Mini App, with an on-chain economy powered by GRAM. BATTLX is free to play, with optional purchases available for players who want them.

BATTLX is currently in a phased soft launch, starting with a no-signup voucher system at voucher.battlx.com, ahead of the full Telegram Mini App rollout.

What comes after BATTLX

BATTLX is the first partnership on the platform, not the only one planned. Playdq is actively building toward additional releases, applying the same publishing model: infrastructure and distribution handled centrally, so each studio can put its effort into the game.

If you are a studio considering a distribution partner, or a player curious about what is coming next, the contact page and this blog are the places to start.
